Dr. Patricia Freund received her medical training at the University of Minnesota Medical School specializing in Family Medicine. She practiced medicine for 7 years with the Mayo Clinic system in Faribault, MN, serving as Hospital Chief of Staff for 2 years. In addition, she was instrumental in helping the hospital achieve exceptional status in regards to the "Baby Friendly" certification program. Her special interests include women's health, weight management, and cancer issues, as well as pediatrics and geriatrics. In her free time Dr. Freund is active in her church and community and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include fishing, hiking, and attending sporting events.
